A 45-year old woman, was crossing the main highway in the desert community of Morongo Valley when she was hit by a car. Paramedics called to the scene pronounced her dead.
It is unclear if the driver that hit her was under the influence. The California Highway Patrol officers are investigating what happened. My sincere condolences go out to the family of the woman. I hope they contact an experienced Personal Injury attorney to determine if they can be reimbursed for their expenses and loss of life.
