A 22 years old woman, died when her Jeep tumbled down a Lake Arrowhead mountain road and burst into flames after ejecting her from the vehicle early the other morning.  It was 2:00 a.m. she had just had a fight with her boyfriend and was driving home to her family from Moreno Valley.

The woman’s father, thinks his daughter who was driving on a suspended license because of medical reasons, may have suffered a seizure, causing her to crash her vehicle.  Firefighters from the Crest Forest Fire Protection District found her body about 100 feet uphill from the vehicle.

CHP officers are investigating the accident.  The father believes that Caltrans is partially responsible for his daughter’s death because there are no guardrails along the road because of budget cuts – only rock pillars and a chain.  A Caltrans spokesperson said their “current configuration meets our standards.”
