A 36-year old man riding his motorcycle on the eastbound Interstate 10 Freeway in Fontana the other night lost control and crashed into the back of a big-rig tractor trailer.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating to determine the cause of this fatal accident. They are checking to see if the motorcyclist was speeding or if the motorcycle had a mechanical malfunction. In addition, they are checking to see if the big-rig driver could have been at fault.
I would suggest that the family of the motorcyclist consult with an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney about the possibility of filing a wrongful death lawsuit because if the big-rig driver is found to be at fault, he and/or his employer could be held liable for compensation of medical and funeral expenses.

Southern California is a popular destination for tourists because of all the amusement parks it has to offer. With the warm weather upon us, many families and tourists are planning to spend time in a California amusement park, such as Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Six Flags, LEGOLAND – just to name a few.
These parks are enjoyed by children and adults. Amusement park rides can be dangerous and cause serious or catastrophic injuries if the safety protocols are not followed. An accident can occur if there is a mechanical malfunction or a park employee is not properly trained or acts reckless or negligent while attending to the ride.
Reports have shown that a roller coaster accident can result in serious brain damage, an amputation or the inability to walk or speak. Other types of rides can result in whiplash, spinal cord injuries or bruised ribs.
If you or a loved one suffers injuries in a California amusement park, contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will protect your legal rights against these large corporations.

On the morning of August 10, a 45-year old woman, lost control of her automobile as she exited Orange Show Road. Apparently she drove through the intersection at the end of the off ramp, became airborne, flew over a wall and fell 30 feet. She died at the scene.
Officials are investigating to determine why she did not stop at the intersection and why she lost control of her auto. They are checking to see if the vehicle had a mechanical malfunction or if something was in the road that caused the accident.
I believe it would be in the best interests of the woman’s family to contact an experienced Personal Injury attorney to investigate this accident for them. Perhaps the accident was a result of an auto product defect and if so, the manufacturer could be held responsible. I extend my condolences to the family of the woman for their tragic loss.
